The Bigger Picture, working with July Systems , as its technology partner, has launched search related Mobile Content Portals for privately held DA companies, Mobile Operator Portals, Whitelabel Affiliate Download Sites, Print Media Brands and high Mobile Traffic WAP Sites like Tag Tag, Windows Live and Google's latest Mobile Search Engine. These unique Content Portals will look to provide millions of pounds in Extra Revenues for Mobile Operators from Off-portal DATA charges as end-users are introduced to using WAP services & JAVA downloads to collect their Content Items, Stock Reports, News Clips, Film Trailers, Football Alerts and generic Mobile Content.
The Bigger Picture (thebiggerpicture.tv) have created a number of different Content Portal Categories so Brand Owners, DA Companies and Operators wanting to expand their brand in the Mobile Content space, On & Off handset, can easily choose which portals best suits their business focus. The portals look to cover all aspects of everyday life from Film & TV, Food & Drink, Restaurant Listings, Shopping, Travel, Job Searches, Cars & Motors, Sports Arcades, Blogging & User Generated Content, a Girl's Channel to Health & Beauty and introducing The Ultimate Games Portal (10 categories from Beat'Em Up, Shoot'Em Down, Strategy, Platform, Skill, Old Classics & Driving games).
"July is pleased to enable media and entertainment companies to extend their reach while creating an integrated brand experience through the combined creative talent of The Bigger Picture powered by our smart retail platform across leading markets around the world," said Geoff McGrath, Managing Director, July Systems (UK) Ltd.
The Bigger Picture, working with July Systems, has integrated Ericsson IPX to provide MO/MT PSMS and WAP billing in 18 countries across 68 Mobile Operators opening Direct Billing to an audience of over 750 Million Mobile Subscribers. In the UK, The Bigger Picture has a dedicated Short-code of '83007' which enables TBP to attach an infinite number of keywords and Price Points for selling content items. A simple 'keyword' associated with the Content Portal is registered with all UK operators. For example, text 'food to: 83007' to access the 'Food & Drink' portal or send 'film to 83007' to access the 'Film &TV' Mobile Club.
Due to the negative press subscription models have generated with the unsuspecting public in recent years, The Bigger Picture aims to turn the tables on shady content sales by offering an unbeatable content bundle to the customer for a small one off fee. Where Jamster offers a total of 5-8 content items to download a month for £12, TBP has decided upon a simple one-off payment of £3 for Unlimited Access & Downloads from each Content Portal. Once the End User has used the Text Trigger to receive the Mobile Content Portal, via a WAP push SMS, they are given free reign to download as much content as they like from the Mobile Portal Stores. For instance, within the UK market, an End User is given access to 10 Wallpapers, 25 Ringtones, 8 Videos, 6 Applications and 7 Java Games for Unlimited Download for just £3. TBP manages to offer such a fantastic business model to users by creating content in-house or having all you can eat content contracts. The user also has the choice to receive daily news stories about their chosen portal topic with the introduction of On handset Java Mobile Magazines.
The Bigger Picture is working with 3rd Party Mobile Companies to send branded Mobile Magazines to the Mass Market. These clients(175 kb in size) are download in much the same way as a JAVA Game from the Content Portals & will save money for end-users not wanting to use WAP connections to get their content & news updates.
The content portals look to include Mobile Magazine JAVA Apps from TOTAL FILM, FOOTBALL 365, T3 GADGETS, POPWORLD, OK!, GQ & GLAMOUR. Please contact us for our Mobile Magazine Partner details & Content Overview Presentations. Content Portals are ready to go live in all countries.
